Josh is the founder and producer of Cracking Slate. He is a writer, musical director and facilitator. He is a graduate from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama’s Writing for Performance BA. Previously he trained as a performer at Sylvia Young Theatre School and Italia Conti. He has worked with young people ranging in age from 4-17 over the past 5 years delivering drama workshops and singing lessons. He focuses on creating work that enables young people to explore their individuality, their own ideas and the stories that matter to them.
Emily Haldane is an acclaimed interdisciplinary director and workshop facilitator, celebrated for her boundary-pushing approach to contemporary theatre. A graduate of Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, she has directed notable productions such as The Double Digit Ceremony (Kaleido Theatre Company, London), The Hairy Toe Circus & Goblin Rock (London College of Music, London), and The Invisible Dog (Haringey Shed, London). She has worked internationally for the past nine years in South Africa, England, Australia and most notably in Cambodia with Epic Arts Theatre Company. Her credits include Our Earth, Out of Shadows, Tell Me Can You See My Secret and Love. Emily is committed to creating performances that challenge norms and amplify marginalised voices.
Rebekah is an all-round theatre practitioner with a focus on Stage Management, Production Management, and Directing. They recently graduated from Guildhall School of Music and Drama with an MA in Collaborative Theatre and Production Design.
